The temple is next to Amsterdam's Jordaan district, on the bank of the Prinsengracht canal. The tower  was built between 1620 and 1631 in Renaissance style, by design of architect Hendrick de Keyser. The tower also is called the Westertoren and she's the highest church tower in Amsterdam -  87 meters. The temple has a small and large organ- main Duyschot organ. A concert is organized each week with an organist (choirmaster). An interesting fact related to the Dutch Royal Family is wedding of Princess Beatrice wich marries Prince Claus von Amsberg in the Westerkerk in 1966. Isolated object over white background.
