The machine was involved in hostilities during the World War II in summer 1943 on Eastern front in the Battle of Kursk, Belgorod. The three-digit tactical number "601" is shown only on the side of the turret armour. On the side skirts are added also the initials “Op” of General Hermann von Oppeln-Bronikowski who commanded the 20th Panzer Division, Teutonic white-black cross and Kursk insignia in yellow color of code-named Operation Citadel. The tank is painted in dark yellow and green-red stripe camouflage pattern. Armor skirts (schürzen in German language) are designed to provide protection primarily against Russian anti-tank rifles and low velocity high explosive rounds. They are made from steel plates. Excellent colored AutoCAD drawing with separate layers for the elements of tank. Isolated object over white background.
